Thousands of years ago, the Cretan king Minos called on the great artificer, Daedalus, to build an underground labyrinth -- a structure so complicated that no one could ever escape from it. Years later, a great hero entered the labyrinth and returned with the head of the Minotaur. It was the kind of story that was made into legends. For Daedalus, though, it was a stain on his greatness.

Years later, Daedalus improved upon his original design. The second labyrinth still exists now, millenia later. Over time, many have become trapped in the labyrinth. Individuals. Whole villages and towns. Even entire civilizations.

The labyrinth is hungry.
